Vic Fair’s artwork for the UK advance was recalled by the film studio very shortly after release because they decided that the white tuxedo was not appropriate and is consequently very rare.
Recalled British One Sheet with Vic Fair & Brian Bysouth Artwork. For the poster campaign of A View to a Kill, Roger Moore was originally dressed in a white tuxedo to contrast with co-star Grace Jones. This design by Vic Fair and illustrated by Brian Bysouth was not widely used, however, because many thought Moore looked less masculine in this outfit. The subsequent styles depict the actor in a black tuxedo instead.
